Awareness with Horses

Equine Assisted Coaching for Businesses/Social Enterprises, Charities, Self Employed

• We offer an emergent space to connect with horses as our guides in order to develop new awareness and insight into how to move forward in times of change and uncertainty.
• Awareness of how to get from where you are to where you want to be from an environment away from stuck habits that you may not otherwise notice.
• As both technology and our lives get faster and faster often we never have time to even stop and step out to see the wood for the trees.
• Get non judgemental feedback from other than human beings on your plans to move forward with an idea or a vision.

Equine assisted coaching offers a combination of professional business coaching or mentoring and equine facilitated experiential learning where we focus on moving forward in your professional and/or personal life. Learning experientially with horses on the ground, engaging with them without force or dominance, framed around power with rather than power over, whilst being supported in a non-judgemental space. Horses by their natural biological make-up will be asking us to stay in the present moment, and enter into our intuitive, embodied ways of knowing - with the horses as our guides, reflecting back to us accurate non-judgemental feedback on our ideas, plans and the obstacles we need to get over, both personally and as an organisation.

You are invited to bring compelling questions concerning the plans, goals or challenges you wish to work on, out of the office and into nature. You are then professionally facilitated and coached, actively exploring questions on, for example, how to move forward in a creative inquiry.

Sessions last for 90 minutes, and on your first coaching session we start by discussing and mutually agreeing how you would like to work and how many sessions you would like to achieve your objectives.

How much does it cost?
One-to-one coaching sessions lasting one and a half hours:
Financed by an organisation employing more than 10 employees £95 per session
Financed by an organisation employing between 3-10 employees £75.00
Financed by an organisation employing less than 3 employees or self employed £60.00

Leadership and Team Building
Due to COVID we are presently unable to run any group workshops.

We offer an emergent space to adventure with horses as our guides in order to develop new awareness and insight into how to move forward in times of change and uncertainty. During a group session the horses become our insightful guides through a personal and professional development journey, providing a foundational space and grounded experience to cultivate courageous team players beyond ego-imposed limitations in these times of changes and uncertainty. In addition learning how horses interact with each other as a living system in a herd can provide insights into improving relationships and leadership including how to motivate, handle conflict, differences of opinion.

Leadership
• Fresh insights into how to move your business or organisation forward in times of change.
• Embody presence, congruency and authenticity. Allow the horses to be your guide from their accurate non-judgemental feed back.
• Experience being in a place of power with, rather than power over, or no power at all.
• Bring your ideas, strategies and challenges out of the boardroom and into "the field."
• Gain a clearer idea of how to move forward.

Building Teams
• Develop a stronger sense of team identity
• Discover how to operate from a place of co-creative experiential learning
• Explore goals and values with your staff and colleagues
• Practice moving forward as a team in times of uncertainty
• See with new eyes the contribution each individual makes to the team

Your team is invited to bring their compelling questions concerning the plans, goals or challenges you wish to work on, out of the boardroom and into nature. You are then professionally facilitated and coached, actively exploring questions relating to the organisation and how to move forward in a creative inquiry and investigation.

"Returning our senses to our social herd-like nature is not a sign of weakness, but a place to gain personal responsibility through wisdom and courage. As we gain wisdom we increase our ability to become conscious co-creators for ourselves, each other and all of life. In this way, working on our leadership presence with horses provides a rich opportunity to refine our natural leadership qualities. We deconstruct our rationality constrained ideas of leadership and learn that everyone has leadership capabilities and responsibilities." Giles Hutchin
